Gabriel Barbosa scored the winner as Flamengo beat São Paulo in a thrilling match at Maracana Stadium on Saturday night.

The Brazilian striker, who has been in great form this season, struck with just under half-an-hour to go to secure all three points for his team.

Barbosa's goal was his eighth of the campaign and he is now level on goals with fellow forward Alexandre Pato, who also netted twice against the same opposition last week.

The win moves Flamengo up to fifth place in the league table, while São Paulo remain firmly rooted at the bottom.
